A. While I won't go into complete detail, here are some similarities and differences: Similarities- 1. composition: triangular 2. Christ/Wolf both presented in similar manner 3. elements of contemporary dress 4. both were 'radical' (sorry couldn't think of a better word)-West included contemporary dress in a history painting which was previously unheard of as they used classical dress; Weyden brought a biblical scene down to earth by placing it in a contemporary Flemish townscape Differences- 1. Style--Weyden: Renaissance; West: Neoclassical 2. Biblical vs. Historical event like I said, these are just a few things but they should help you get started!
